Sex, obsession, and finding home.

A New Play by Andy Halliday

Directed by G.R. Johnson

Theater For The New City
155 First Avenue, New York

(btw. 9th & 10th Streets)

[ Nudity. Adult sexual situations. ]

The story of a young gay man obsessed with finding his birth mother and the answers to questions surrounding his entire life.

After finally finding her, he has the courage to move on and have “a life beyond his wildest dreams.”

Note from the playwright:

This play is a very personal one for me. As an adopted child, my feelings about being different were very powerful and consumed my thoughts as a teenager. These feelings were comforted by a very bad cocaine habit.  I went into rehab. I got out.  But I was one of the lucky ones.

I wrote this play for the queer community to show that there’s hope for people who deal with addiction and low self-esteem.  I tell my story with candor and humor, making people laugh at the absurd situations that happened in my real-life nightmare.
